My eclectic background has taken me to all 7 continents for both work and play. I have gained experience with a diverse range of client groups; from public to private and voluntary to statutory, chief executive to trainee; in conventional and unconventional settings; in short I work with people. For example I am currently working on a 50% contract with the Centre for Excellence in Leadership, with a national focus on strategic leadership in the Learning and Skills Sector, other recent clients include Oracle, Cranfield School of Management and Nichols Project Management Consultancy. I have also recently piloted and facilitated work with young leaders to explore living in a multicultural community.
I volunteer time as a trustee to a national youth organisation and am a member of a national steering group for values (spiritual) work with young people. I maintain balance in my life by keeping in touch with the earth whether through gardening or more adventurous outdoor activities.
Professional Qualifications & Training
By profession I am an informal educator and work to encourage people to reflect and think critically about their current and future context. My style is adaptable and flexible, using experiential and theoretical methods to create a bespoke blend for each client, be it the individual or the organisation. I particularly enjoy providing learning environments in the outdoors as I know this creates a powerful space for reflection and development.
