Put forward and rejected for promotion to a senior level in a major global consultancy in 2008, my client was greatly challenged by this unexpected rejection. After some introspection and indecision regarding his desire to be promoted, he re-affirmed his commitment to achieve his goal and embarked on a personal coaching programme over the ensuing months.
