John Faulkner

John currently operates his own business consultancy JGF Coaching People based in Hampshire. He has designed, Delivered and tutored a wide range of development programmes Including Leadership Teams, coaching skills, assertion and stress management. He also has extensive experience of coaching and mentoring on a one-to-one basis.

Starting out on his professional life, John balanced his studies in becoming a qualified quantity surveyor with a career in professional football.

As a player he performed with merit with Leeds United and Luton Town in the UK and Memphis Rogues and Californian Surf in the USA. He continued with his football career as first team, Youth Coach, and assistant manager at both Luton town and Norwich city.

John is a visiting fellow in The Praxis Centre at Cranfield School of Management where he tutors on the High Performance Leadership and Managing People Effectively courses.

As well as his qualification as a quantity surveyor, John also has his FA Full Coaching Badge, a Diploma in Sports Studies from the National Coaching Foundation, has completed the NCF Advanced Coaching Workshop and has certification for Pesso-Boyden System Psychomotor Therapy.

His personal interests, not surprisingly, includes sport in general as well as travel, hiking, biographies, Body/mind therapies and cooking.
