The Heart of Our Work

At the heart of our work is the belief that real change only occurs when individuals can change how they perceive themselves, perceive others and perceive the world around them.

Without reference to self limiting beliefs, to internal “contracts”, to our values and other key “filters to our perception” taking on new skills to the “old person” seldom produces productive results. We gave the example in another section in relation to old style command-control driven managers. If, for example, such people are taught new coaching skills without changing their fundamental beliefs and behaviours, then they will frequently misuse these skills (or often never use them) by remaining in a command-control mentality. We have, over many years, developed key core elements for our change work. These components are included in all our programmes and are designed to provide people with the building blocks to effect their own change process. The “Core Elements” are listed in each of our programmes and include the following:

Core Process:

:: II.com – Yourself – The Business – Getting to the core of real change – the individual and    how we can reclaim our personal power.

:: The Technology of Change – the process of changing behaviour to produce new results

:: Breaking out of non-productive habits

:: Raising personal consciousness and focus energy in the ‘here and now'

:: Building Bridges – Pacing and Leading - the fundamental skill for effective communication

We visualise our developmental journey as a loop of infinity which starts with the awakening of the individual and will always come back to further individual awakenings. For example:

:: The individual awakens to the understanding that they have attracted into their life the    results they are currently achieving and that it is they who require to take responsibility for    their own change.

:: The individual understands how to change

:: They practise “not doings” ie. breaking habits and ….

:: Installing new more productive habits and skills

:: They use these in everyday life and work to share with and productively influence others    through their new skills and levels of consciousness

:: This can then lead to further awakenings and understandings which lead to further    opportunities for growth

:: and so on . . . .
