Culture Collision Prevented

In 2000, following a takeover of Stakis Hotels by Hilton Hotels, the Vice President for the London Hilton Hotels was concerned that a potential clash of cultures of the two businesses would have a serious effect on business results.

He wanted to see a unified London team, real co-operation across the Area by the General Managers and individual hotel teams operating at the top of their game.

Our programme of development that encompassed the London Area team, all senior teams in each hotel (and some assistant heads of department teams) across London, as well as a coaching programme for selected in-house coaches, resulted in a cohesive high-performing Area Team which is still talked about to this day... and they achieved business results far in excess of expectations!
