Chris Waymark

Chris is an Edinburgh-based coach, facilitator and consultant who assists people to realise their potential in developing themselves, their teams and their organisations.

Since 2004 Chris has specialised in people development, drawing on his diverse experience in pharmaceutical chemistry, IT systems integration, bereavement counselling, psycho-spiritual development, management consultancy and leadership development. He has delivered the following programmes for multinational and UK-based clients. - team leadership, management excellence, building effective business relationships and managing change. He has facilitated learning sets for senior managers of global businesses and has coached senior leaders and managers on a one-to-one basis.

Chris holds a BSc and PhD in chemistry. He is a qualified practitioner of personality tools such as MBTI, Emotional Intelligence (John Cooper Associates’ Individual Effectiveness tool), Strengths Deployment Inventory and the Enneagram of Personality (Enneagram Professional Training Programme). He has worked with a teacher of the Alexander Technique, a Music Therapist and several priests from the Christian church.

Outside the workplace Chris has run workshops and coached individuals to help them discover greater meaning and purpose in their working lives, to make personal change, and to discover themselves using the Enneagram of Personality.

He plays guitar and sings in a rock band and busks as part of the Edinburgh fringe festival. He is a keen cricketer and tenpin bowler, a fledgling whisky enthusiast…and is a hopeful follower of Southampton FC!
